Hybrid working is a type of flexible working situation in which an employee can expect to work both in-office and remotely from their home or another approved location. In many cases, employees will have the option to choose when they want to work in either, offering true worksite flexibility.

For the employee, hybrid working has several very obvious benefits. First, there is the flexibility and ability to choose one's worksite location for much of the week. This ability to choose and enjoy flexibility with work leads right into the next biggest benefit: Good work-life balance. A person with a good work-life balance is one who is happier and more productive. The most obvious benefit of hybrid working is less commuting. Most people hate sitting in traffic or rubbing elbows with strangers on the train. The ability to work remotely effectively eliminates this frustrating element of the workday.

Naturally, the employer benefits also from a hybrid working schedule. That's because the happier an employee is and the more satisfied they are with working conditions, the more productive they become. Productivity breeds ingenuity and profitability. In fact, many employers report they would prefer implementing some type of hybrid working situation but aren't sure how to do so. One way to ease the change into this style of working is via Microsoft Teams and having a group undergo training that shows them how to use Teams to improve their current processes with their colleagues – Teams is much more than  for video meetings and Chat!

Microsoft Teams training helps to prepare a professional team for remote working with faster communications, centralised filing & co-editing, shared tasks visible to all and shorter meetings, regardless if they're working at the next desk  from their co-workers or in the next town.
